Henna

Well I have had an Indian experience in Switzerland....and I think this must only happen to exchange students...because who else will go to Switzerland and then have an Indian day?

So how come I had an Indian day? Well My host sisters friend was an exchange student in India last year, so she decided ot have a breakfast brunch. As she knows what it is like to be an exchange student she invited me to come along as well.

So after we had our brunch breakfast, we went up on to her roof balcony and sat in the sun. She then decided to give us all an Indian experience, so got out her Henna and painted pictures on our arms and feet.

MY henna is on my arm and will last for 2 weeks. The henna process goes like this

first one paints the picture on with this thick paint paste.

you then let it dry, and then brush the dried paint off.

you now have a orange image on your arm

you then wait a day and it turns brown.

then you have a henna arm for 2 weeks.

this was alot of fun and I now feel very Indian.

Belinda and I could do with some henna for the Bollywood function we are going to in June. I will have to let you wear my sari, so you can feel more 'Indian'!!! I will show Romi the photos on Monday.
