Lena's leaving to the Circus Party.

On Saturday night my whole Swiss class and I were invited to Lena’s (a girl in my classes) leaving party. Lena is a very talented circus performer and is off to join the circus....well a Childs circus for a few months.

The party was at Lena's house and was so much fun. I met another girl in my class, Irene, at the train station. We then went off to the party together. We arrived and said hello to the rest of my class who also had come to farewell Lena.

It was just a lovely evening. ……with heaps of photos (sadly not taken by me as I forgot my camera………. but I will get copies), Heaps so laughs and heaps of fun.

We all just had fun like a normal bunch kids…..well almost adults in my case. We ate some bratwursts, salad and chips for dinner. People played volley ball, people sat around the barbecue fire singing (like a camp fire place in the garden) , and others like me just went around talking to everyone and joining in.

Dessert was just fabulous...we had Chocolate fondue....so melted chocolate in the fondue pots…… that you then dip fruit in. This was just so yummy.

After getting covered in chocolate. ……….I am not so good with melted chocolate...it always seems to have a mind of its own.
Then I went and sat around the camp fire thing. Some of my class were singing songs in German. I suddenly recognised the tunes…they were Disney songs…it was so strange to hear Disney songs in German…for some reason it never dawned on me that they would translate the Disney Songs as well. I have decided I have to learn some Disney songs in German…what a good party trick….then later I will have to learn to yodel so I can yodel Disney songs in German.

So after eating chocolate and talking and singing with people in my class it was about time to go home. I went back to the train station with Irene. She had brought her bike so I sat on the bike rack at the back and we went downhill to the train station.

Then being kids (yes 17 is a kid...and while I am almost 18 I will be as childish as I like), …so we took the bike up and down all of the slopes (there are big slopes people can uses instead of stairs to go from the street to the underground part of the train station )…. we went zooming down the slopes so fast that all my hair was flying behind me….....this was great fun.

It was then time for us to board our trains and go home after a great evening.
